The Lime Tree is a privately owned local restaurant that is situated in the thriving market town of Limavady and is now going into its twelfth year of business. Fresh ,seasonal local produce is prominent throughout our menu choices with a slight emphasis on the daily fish supplied by Donegal Prime Fish. We use Irish Beef supplied by Award Winning local Butcher N. Hunter & Son, Limavady ;Fresh Fruit & Vegetables from Superfruit , Limavady, winner of  Green Grocer of the Year on numerous occasions : Sperrin Lamb when in season comes from Lean & Easy based in Garvagh. 

Since opening we have achieved major recognition winning The British Airways Best Catering Award 1997, The Gilbey’s Gold Medal Award for Catering September 1998, Seacat/Newsletter Business Lunch of the Year 1999 & inclusion in The AA Best Restaurants Guide with a Rosette for the last eleven years, Georgina Campbell’s Best of the Best Guide for Ireland 2006, Bridgestone Guide for Northern Ireland as well as being listed in The Michelin Guide, Time Out , Lonely Planet Guides.           In 2006 we were  Highly Commended at the Northern Ireland Tourism Awards in the Hospitality Award Sector . We have also featured in several newspaper and magazine articles some which you can read on a review page.
